Paul Cantor 

Paul Cantor is a Professor of English at the University of Virginia. He is a well-known scholar of Elizabethan and Romantic English literature and is the author of several books, including: Shakespeare: Hamlet (1989), Creature and Creator: Myth-Making and English Romanticism (1984), Shakespeare's Rome: Republic and Empire (1976), and Gilligan Unbound: Pop Culture in the Age of Globalization (2001). Professor Cantor has also served on the National Council of the Humanities from 1992-1997.
